Gene-Trac® Environmental Molecular Testing

Treatability Studies

Years of laboratory-to-field research have repeatedly demonstrated the strong correlation between laboratory bench scale treatability study results and achievement of remediation goals in the field. Laboratory treatability studies are a cost effective tool to simultaneously evaluate multiple performance variables, facilitate stakeholder "buy in," optimize performance prior to field implementation and ultimately reduce remediation costs.


Biotreatability Studies

Bench-scale biotreatability studies provide answers for site remediation questions that are often too expensive, risky or complex to test directly in the field.

The professionals at SiREM are experts at performing biotreatability studies for a wide variety of contaminants. SiREM routinely performs technically challenging anaerobic studies that maintain the activities of oxygen sensitive microorganisms using specialized protocols and anaerobic chambers. SiREM biotreatability studies are designed as replicated controlled experiments that provide a high level of data integrity and interpretability. SiREM's interpretative reports summarize data and place results in a site remediation context for use by our customers in remedy selection and optimization.
